What a wonderful surprise

Jacob awoke from his nap, he was still, and quiet. He could hear the sloppy pitter patter of rain outside. We went to the window, and it began snowing! Oh how I miss the snow. And, here we are watching it together for the first time. The snow in North Texas is wetter than the Panhandle. At night, moonlight and street lamps make the snow glitter. It is so breathtakingly beautiful!

Justin is not a big fan of cold except when it means he gets to cuddle. We were at my parents home in the country. We held each other, looked around at miles and miles of still, quiet snow, and just looked at each other, in love. He was strong and beautiful, and I felt incredible in his arms with glistening snow all around. I never would have dreamed that we would marry and have a baby before our 2nd anniversary. In fact, just four short years ago, when we met, I never imagined such a wonderful life was possible with such a good man!

Jacob did play in the snow the following morning. It was bright and he decided he had enough after sitting in the cold for a few minutes. I don't blame him!
