Prayer for Taiwan

Here is a prayer request from Glenda in Taiwan. She was our missionary when I went with my church in 2005, and she's an Aggie. Maybe soon I can give you all a better picture of ancestral worship. Maybe I can tell you more about so many things there. For now, let's pray because it is very hard time in this believer's life. If he chooses not to worship the "gods" then he could, mostly likely will, face rejection and pain from his family.

"Please pray for Simon in Taiwan. His grandfather died last week. He shared
with his grandfather often about Jesus' love for him. They are going through
the 7 day traditional/Buddhist worship ceremonies, including ancestor worship.
He is the only Christian in his family and under much pressure to participate in
the ceremonies. Pray that he will be strong and faithful to God during these
days. Pray that he will experience God's presence and peace in this time of loss."
