Kaitlyn Reese Bentley

Kaitlyn was born into the world on Friday, May 22, 2009, at 8:32 p.m. She weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces and was 19.5 inches.

I was amazed when I saw her - I was without words. The last nine months have passed quickly, and so many things have changed. God is still working on me, but at her birth, I knew that He loved us and has a beautiful plan for our family. She is wonderful beyond words. I love that she resembles her brother Jacob at his birth. In fact, they were the exact same birth weight. She is precisely what her name means. "Pure enthusiasm" describes her completely. Jacob loves his baby sister, and his new favorite color is pink. We all love our baby girl! We are still adjusting to our new life, hence my delay in posting. It is a challenge with Jacob since he desires all of Mommy's attention.

Please pray for us as we establish new routines for both children, and as we come together as a family. I just put Jacob down to rest. I held him and cried. He is so big, and I want to be able to spend all of my time with him. Please pray for knowledge and wisdom in raising Jacob in a loving and Godly way. Please pray for Kaitlyn's continued success and health. may she grow to love and have a kind heart. Pray Justin and I grow stronger together, love our children passionately, and grow a happy home.
